Show & Tell - #50

My friend Ana and I went horseback riding last Saturday. It was the first time I was on a horse in 20 years (!)

Ana had never been on a horse before:

Here is me getting ready to get on the horse:

And here is the view from above:

(Husband was supposed to take more pictures, but had hands full with kids--who went to the petting zoo and small zoo they had at the farm.)

We rode along a wooded trail in New Hampshire. There were still some fall foilage, and I got to see some of the sets for the haunted hayride...

Being on a horse after all those years was refreshing and fun. And I want to go do it again and soon!

That is so fun. My mind always seems to wander to riding horses, even though I've only done it once. You've inspired me. Perhaps I will try to get dh out to do some horse back riding with me.

Oh, I miss riding so much! I actually worked as a horse trainer at an Arabian breeding farm one summer.

Great day out! And a perfect post for me, I love horses, though I haven't ridden for an age.
So much fun.

I love horseback riding! I've only been a few times (tourist stuff) but I love it. In another life, I'm sure I had the pleasure of being a rider.

I've tried it a few times, and have to say, horseback riding still scares the poopie out of me.

I'm jealous! I've always wanted to go horseback riding, but have never had the chance. What a beautiful horse!

I don't know if I would be coordinated enough to snap a picture while on the horse... I would probably fall off. :)
