I think new techniques in establishing what embryos are most viable will make this something that will not be an issue in later ART techniques."<BR/><BR/>One new technique being developed to identify viable embryos, safely is through metabolomics. A company called Molecular Biometrics is working on a solution to this problem. Enabling single embryo transfer is one of the biggestest challenges for ART.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079611.post-18658410401712605352008-03-04T09:12:00.001-05:002008-03-04T09:12:00.001-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Cabahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164597797727112635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079611.post-27548363523964783572008-03-04T09:12:00.000-05:002008-03-04T09:12:00.000-05:00I liked reading your answers. Sad, really.Cabahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164597797727112635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079611.post-51465588999494828282008-03-03T15:18:00.000-05:002008-03-03T15:18:00.000-05:00I liked the description of the back-and-forth that...I liked the description of the back-and-forth that went on in navigating IF with your husband--especially the idea of one person having to be more in the zone and then finding the balance again.Lollipop Goldsteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01020874415819057995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079611.post-31489582483211115942008-03-03T13:15:00.000-05:002008-03-03T13:15:00.000-05:00I agree with your statements that at first you hav...I agree with your statements that at first you have faith in the clinic - which, after failures, soon leads to just believing in luck! I could also relate to your answers on science, because I was the same way!loribethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09272814565916935113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079611.post-77558616038197189242008-03-03T10:49:00.000-05:002008-03-03T10:49:00.000-05:00I really enjoyed reading your answers. I too feel...I really enjoyed reading your answers. I too feel like the initial focus at the fertility clinic is on the woman and not really on the man at all. We're in the beginnings of the process and I'm having to undergo tons of bloodwork and ultrasounds and an HSG, etc., but JD doesn't have to do anything, and we know (well, JD and I know, the doctors say they don't "officially" know) that we're dealing with male factor. I think that it just reinforces the false belief that infertility is a woman's problem.Jendeishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11960909534349311223noreply@blogger.com
